The Story of the Sly Fox

We are a Canberra based pop-up coffee shop with organic food, locally sourced coffee and a wonderful community

Sly Fox is a coffee shop without a shop, it has no fixed address and no set opening hours, we are open whenever and where ever the universe needs us.

Our legendary barista Pat first envisaged and ephemeral coffee shop while working in more traditional coffee houses. After decades as a coffee artist, Pat knew that a truly excellent coffee experience required beautiful surroundings, the kind you can't find in a building. So he took his coffee machine off grid and started making coffee outdoors in a variety of wonderful locations

Sly Fox moves between markets and festivals, fêtes and fairs, all around Canberra and the surrounding areas. However it always comes back to a comfy little spot on a bike path in the inner north, nestled among the trees, with musicians and artists in residence, a steady stream of wild and wonderful visitors, and a beautiful community garden.
